|
|
On my TomTom Go 700, I have recently changed from TomTom's camera data base to the Pocketgps version v3.124 (December).
I have installed all the camera types gatzo, redlight mobile etc. Also I have set up various sounds for the speed values of each camera type.
So far so good, on the TomTom screen I get a visual indication and sound regarding the cameras, but the CAMERA'S SPEED VALUE ie 20/30/40 MPH is NOT displayed visually on the screen. On the previous TomTom data base it was.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Daren,
Thanks for quick reply. Problem also posted on http://www.mytomtomgo.com/ forum where it was also suggested that I try the links which you kindly provided. I can confirm that I have previously worked through them.
It must be stated that all is functioning perfectly apart from NOT showing the camera's speed value ie 20/30/40 on the screen. The camera's icons shows, but no speed value. Also my choice of sound is there.
Must be a minor point I'm missing somewhere.
Regards

Alan, each of the camera database OV2 files (assuming you are using the speed zoned ones) have an associated BMP file, this is what will display on the screen - within the download will be an alternate bmp folder try the Khan 24 bit as they display the speed on the icon that pops into view, (the others probably do as well but these are the ones I use so I know they work) - Just replace what is loaded onto the PDA with the revised BMP files you want (view them in paint first if need be) - Mike |

Thanks for all your help. Problem sorted. Installed both the Main and Sub categories for each camera type. NOT a good idea!
