I have loaded the Garmin POI's + the camera database but none seem to appear on the map and the proximity alerts don't call either. Any ideas what has gone wrong? |

I have aslo noted that when I upload say, the safety camera database it goes on OK. But when I then upload the Garmin POI's it seems to overwrite the safety camea database.
When I go to 'My Locations' then 'Custom POI' it shows the categories but if I load another POI database on it seems to overwrite the original files - any ideas please?? |

I havent tried this yet but I think it downloads all from the directory that you point poiloader to. So I think you need to accumalate all your downloads into 1 directory and then all of them will be downloaded overwriting all already on the 2720
Let me know if this works cos I will be doing it later this week.

I've just bunged all the speed camera ones in that same directory and it seems to have loaded them all up. I just need to see if the proximity warning comes up as its meant to now.
Did you get my PM? I'd like to meet up to compare the machines etc if you are interested?

All the POI's have worked from one directory. The speed camera database works really well and warns you with beeps if you are over the advised speed - brilliant! This is such a massive improvement over the Navman PiN570 - a really superb bit of kit - very happy!!! |

Just to confirm what has been said earlier, when you use the POILoader it first deletes all (custom) POIS from the i3 and then reloads all the POIs from the specified PC directory. So each time you update a POI, make sure that all of them (that you want) are in the same directory. |
