HP iPAQ 6510 and TT5

I have just purchased a HP iPAQ 6510 messenger. This comes with Tom Tom version 4.500 which seems to be a watered down version of TT5. It says in the manual that a reduced price upgrade to TT5 is available. - Has anyone got this set up, and can tell me how to get this upgrade.

the upgrade to tt5 ended in mid november so i dont think that you would get an ungrade unless the retailer was feeling very kind in afraid you have to wait to see what happens if and when tomtom release v6 of navigator or bite the bullet and get a copy of tt5 from a retailer

The 6510 and 6515 come with a separate upgrade route. The documentation with the Ipaq should have sent you to www.tomtom.com/gpsnavigation which is a site offering a discount for users of the 65xx series Ipaqs to buy TomTom 5 and the maps of western Europe for 129 euros. In fact they now offer individual country maps now, but the better buy is the MoWE.
