Hi everyone

can someone point me in the direction of using my contacts with TT5.

At the moment I have to type in the contact address manually.

I have just swapped from Co pilot and on that system it was easy as their was a seperate icon, but how do you do it in TT5

ANY help would be great

I have a MIO 168 if this helps

it's not in TomTom, it's in your address book. there you will see two new menu entries - show on map/ navigate.

Don't expect too much, you need very strict matching to make TomTom find the address.

To be a bit more specific. Go to your contact list. Tap and hold the contact you want and a list of actions will pop up. One will be "navigate to" and another "find on map" (or something similar). Choose which you want and Tom Tom will fire up and try to do it.

Lutz is right that this can be a bit temperamental. I have found that it depends upon the way that you have entered the addresses in Outlook. Dont just write the address in the box. Instead hit the "address" button and a prompt screen will come up to get you to specify street, city, postcode etc. Use that instead and TT is more likely to recognise your address. Unfortunately it does not appear to be able to use postcodes to do that though.
