Hi,
I am a newbie to sat nav and this site.
Just bought the One, and I am impressed so far, I will be looking for the map of france for the summer, does the one on savastore ID 90.051 suit all Tom Toms as its says its for Tom Tom Go.
Will the camera updates fit on to the supplied uk map SD card, I will probably back up the original, card is a 32 big enough or should I go higher, or would it be a waste.

Give us a link. I've never heard of savastore so I've no idea where to find their website.

The GO maps work just find on the ONE. And on PDAs and Mobiles for that matter.

You probably do have enough room for cameras, they don't take up much space.
32? You mean 32mb? That's nowhere near enough . The card you have is probably 128mb or 256mb. I would recommend 512mb as an absolute minimum if you are adding more maps. |

Savastore.com is the site I was looking at, and I thought it said that the SD card that comes with the unit is a 32 Meg card. |

No that's the internatl memory size.
The SD card that comes with it is either 128mb or 256mb (I don't recall which). |

128Mb for the Go300 and One.
(and I found I *did* have to take off most of the unused foreign voices to fit the camera files on, and leave some working space which the unit needs). |

Is there any Ireland coverage?
I think i'm rightin saying on the TomTom Go 300/500/700 units, Ireland coverage is aroung the 30-40% mark?
I wonder if any of you guys with the new TomTom 'ONE' unit can tell me if there is street level coverage of some of the major cities, i.e DUBLIN etc.
Many thanks for you help! :D _________________ Don't follow me....i'm lost too! |
