PLEASE could someone help me i am haveing trouble installing the poicature software .I dont understand what a root directury is .when i install the software i put the software into a new folder in my storage card then i open the program on my pocket pc and then it opens a folder called sdkregisty which it is what it should do but it all so open another new folder called sdkfilecalls which looks like it sould not do .when i open poicapture it locks the pocket pc which i have to reset it

i am runing a IPAQ H3870

You need to download and install the version for PPC2002, from the same download page.

SdkFileCalls is created by TomTom - nothing wrong with that. You can ignore that folder.

Didn't understand your error description - is TTN hanging when you run POICapture? Are you running POICapture while TomTom is running?
