I've rently bought a ttg300 and am powering it using the psp charger ! Reason being that the cigarette lighter's cablind in my car has been totally removed. Does anyone have any idea's at all, if i take it to a garage, how much it would cost to have it rewired ?

Best way is to re-install the cig light socket (or another one behind the dash). You need one to use the charger. The charger lead cannot be cut as the plug includes a voltage regulator which drops the 12 volts of the car to 5 volts for the GO.

If you put 12 volts into the GO it starts to smoke. And then it doesn't work Crying or Very sad

the psp charger doesnt have the same input does it??? I thought it was smmaller

All electronic equipment comes from the manufacturer with the correct amount of smoke pre-packed inside for normal functioning. If you let that smoke out, it won't work any more.

Yes, very be careful when using a different adapter. I've done stuff like that before and it works for a while, until that extra .5 volts melts the wires or something worse.

Works for me, Isn't as snug as it could be but it works once plugged in and left alone.
