Hi just a general question....
Being totally inundated with Mini USB leads, you know the thing Cameras gps units pda's smart phones I'm trying if possible to redue the number of items I need to carry in the car for charging and when going away on holiday etc....
I am trying to see if the chargers etc are compatible between the Holux GPSlim 236 and the iMate SP3i, well actually the O2 XDA smartphone which appears one and the same !!
I don't want to go and blow either item up and you would think that in a world of common connectors that they would be the same "ARE THEY ? "
Many thanks for any help forthcoming (hopefully!) Phil |

Well USB is supposed to be a standard and I would hope that anything using a USB connector would conform to that standard, but you can't guarantee that you will never find something that doesn't conform.

If it is a USB device, it should be standard.
Many devices now use the mini-USB "connector" for connecting purpose the y they are not "USB" devices. That is what you should be aware of. _________________ Pc-Mobile
