Just wondered if anyone else uses one of these devices and how they are finding it?
I have one and found it to be excellent.

Just got one today and so far it has pointed out 2 possible mobile sites and missed all 5 of the fixed sites in my area. |

You could always email them and let them know about them. They are pretty receptive to feedback and even dish out free subscription if you help them to find new camera sites.

I have one of the Talex Lite units and so far I have been most impressed, strait out of the box it had all the local mobile and fixed cameras on it.
I am also very impressed with the sensitivity of the sirf3 chipset, the thing even works when placed in the glove box with the door shut.

I tto have been impressed by the simplicity of this device, which requires no fiddling about with - just plug in and go. The warnings grab your attention without being irritating and I especially like the manner in which it instructs you in very clear tones to reduce speed if you happen to be over the speed as you approach the detection zone. The displays are a bit naf, but I don't find it necessary to consult the LED display as the instructions are unambiguous. |
