Hi all
I'm going to Florida in Christmas and was wondering:-
1- if I could use TTN5.1 that I bought from here with GB maps and swap it with the US maps?
2 - If so, how and where can I get hold of the US maps?
3 - When I bought TTN5.0 it came on a stingy 128Mb SD card, so there's hardly any room left to copy anymore maps. Can I simply copy the entire content of the card to a bigger, say 512Mb, card and copy the complete US_maps folder along side the GB_maps folder and TTN5 will 'see' the new map?
Thanks
Len
P.S. Before I post it I decided to check on tomtom website (PLUS services) and they do sell city maps but what I want is a state-level maps, since I'll be travelling to places like Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Gainsville and Jacksonville.
Also, when I select to buy the a city map, say Miami, the price quoted was 4.95 Euros but once I add it to the shopping basket, it became 9.95 Euros. What's going on? _________________ TomTom Navigator 5.10 on Dell Axim 50v

Yes.

Check out some of our advertisers on the right hand side of this page, one of the best ones at the moment is EasyDevices.

Yes, get a storage card as large as possible. I tend to use 1GB CF Cards now. If you haven’t already got a card reader/writer then get one, as it makes copying to a larger card so much easier and quicker.

I think that you can only buy city maps from the TomTom website, but if you can justify £100 on the full USA maps then that would be better.

No idea.
BTW, if you don’t already have Sprite Backup, get it! You don’t want to be in the USA and lose all power to wipe the memory of your PDA. With Sprite you’ll be up and running in minutes!
