Sound files temporarily corrupted ? Mapsonic v2.5 on Zire 32

I have been using Mapsonic 2.5 on Zire 31 for months, but something strange happened on Friday.

Towards the end of a 2 hr journey, the voice announcements sounded garbled and distorted, and I initially thought the speaker must have broken or come loose inside the PDA.

I switched the PDA off/on and voice announcements were fine again.

Just wondered if anyone else has noticed temporary corruption of voice files, as I can only assume this was the cause !!

All fine now, but a bit odd.

I don't get distortion (or no more than is expected from the inbuilt speaker in my Clie) but I do notice that from time to time the volume changes withoiut any user intervention.

I suspect your issues probably have more to do with some issue in the Zire, hardware or OS related, than with Mapsonic.

Yep ive had it too - very annoying!
