Anybody know how to clear the "Home" location without needing to do a hard reset. My unit needs to go back due to a few faults and I don't like the unit showing personal details.
surely unless the thief is really thick he can look at your 20 most recently visited locations and work things out like that. One of the previous locations will probably be your house address (and knowing most people there handbag/car/briefcase will contain clues
so how do we wipe the last 20 most recently visited locations? _________________ Garmin StreetPilot i3

no i dont leave any clues whatsoever in the car. i was thinking more of an american style attack where they steal ur bag/briefcase and steal ur i3 and/or car.
Well it guides u to within an inch of ur house location.
As you say if you save it as a favourite it doesnt show up on the most recently viewed places??? so you could save ur home destination a few streets away to be safe. _________________ Garmin StreetPilot i3
