After installing Pocketmap Navigator R3 when I attempt to download maps to my HP iPAQ hw2795 SD card or device memory nothing happens. The tablet briefly displays "searching for pocketmap navigator data..." and then the window disappears and no map data get's transfered. Any help out there would be greatly appreaciated. |

If i wasn't so frustrated I'd still be laughing. I do all that but when I select the \sd card\pocket map folder as a download location on theiPAQ, the software "blinks" the pop-up window that says,
"searching for pocketmap navigator data..."
and then the window disappears and no map data get's transfered. The software reacts the same way, regardless of the folder selection on the Pocket PC. I'm running Mobile 5 (Windows CE 5.0) |

I don't believe that PMN 3.12 has been updated for WM 5 or for ActiveSync 4.0 for that matter. I would therefore expect it to posssibly have problems syncronising using AS 4 as the base transport. You may want to try saving the file directly to the PC and then manually copying the data (using ActiveSync) to the Pocketmap Navigator 2004 R3.12/COUNTIES directory (or the highway maps directory if that's what you're trying to copy). The files can actually be copied manually off the CD's too, but that's not a lot of fun either.
