But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

I run an independent windscreen and glass-replacement business.
My day-to-day appointments can sometimes take me to some very obscure places for which the TTN5 has proved to be an absolute gem, however, some addresses are for houses that do not have numbers, but house-names.
This isn't such a big deal if the road itself is relatively short, but when we're dealing with a road that is a couple of miles long and every house has a name and not a number, it is a bit of a pain...
In the 'old days', I used to ask for a feature or landmark to get me closer to finding the subject house, eg, "we have two twisted pillars as gate posts" etc...
Is there anything in this - or any other - software that caters for this; or have a become a slave to this technology?!

Thank you.
I had to ask the question; never-the-less, I feel better for getting it out of my system.
Whenever I see the 'Numbers not allocated to this street' dialogue, I will probably break out into a rendition of Grace Jones' 'Slave to the Rythmn' in the style of a drunken and shamelss Karaoke singer... I just hope that I "reach my destination" before the big finish!
