NEW GPS user needs checklist

Hi all you clever guys,

As a new "comming" GPS user i realy would like a Checklist of what to install to start using GPS. I have the following :

Toshiba E330 PDA
External G-SAT GPS Antenna
TomTom 5

Then i have a number of drivers.. and questions. A GPS driver for the PDA, somthing called GPSinfo, Regkill, Comno.

1. What do i need to install on the PDA
2. Do i have to activate a COM port ? Start GPS ?

I have tried to install all i have, but at no time i get signal from the sattelites.

I hope someone can help me with a guide.

don't know if you have this or if it's relevant to you under the connections tab you migh thave a recieve beams icon ..it needs to be unticked ..
