Is there anyone who sells a power cable for the TT Go 700? I see that there is a new full install kit but this seems a little over the top for what I need. Al I want is to power the Go without the use of a cig lighter plug. I understand that there is a drop down transformer in the plug, so you can't just cut the wire but is TT going to make a simple cable/adapter? |

don't go there (ha, that was even funny).
Buy a standard "iPAQ style" cigarette lighter adapter with round plug and 5V output. They can be had plentiful on eBay for example _________________ Lutz

Not being funny, but what would that acheive? All I want is to avoid the using the cig lighter. Is this possible? |

you can't avoid that. If you don't like the looks of it, simply hide the cig lighter socket behind the dash _________________ Lutz

You can buy an "in-line" cigar lighter socket from Maplins etc. pop it onto a length of cable and use those snap together wire junctions to tap into the wires going to your normal socket. Then the whole lot can be hidden behind the dash.
