|
|
Hi folks,
Im hoping someone can help me, i have a HP Ipaq 1710 with TomTom Navigator v5.00 (4890) with 'Great-Britain-Map' v562 , i wish to update to version 5.10 or whatever the latest software is.
I am having major difficulty to install this file as i am new to this field, I recently visited Belfast & was horrified to find that the version i have is badly out of date !!!
When i visit the Tomtom updates website, it keeps reminding me that an updated version is available of which i have downloaded to my p.c., whenever i install it & check it on the ipaq to see what version it is, it states the same old version 5.00 although i have followed the instructions & installed to my Ipaq...
Is there an idiots guide or something as i am clueless, please help somebody as i beg for some assistance.
Cheers folks

PJ, try downloading the ZIP version of the upgrade, some people have experianced more sucess with this. Also make sure that non of the TT CD's are in the computers drive (This caught me out a while ago). With the PDA docked via active sync it should work but you might have to try it a couple of times - Mike |
