Can you give a little more detail please.

Have you set up the Warn When Near, in Manage POI's? Have you ticked the Only Warn When On Route? Have you only enabled the POI's?

So many questions - you have the answers. Smile

If you go here...http://www.rayflanagan.co.uk/voicesound.html

you can download a proper voice for your camera warning sounds and dont forget when you have them in to make sure you enable them in manage poi's

Hi when you download the data.chk for the voice from rays site, do you just take old data.chk from your sd card and replace with the one you just downloaded then reboot?

Yes, but keep a copy! or call it something else. The new file must be called "data.chk" or the GO won't find it.
