SysonChip CF+ on Renault Megane Cabrio

I have used the 2210 with the receiver and TT3 for about a year with no problems in this car. Having recently upgraded to TT5 I find sometimes the receiver doesnt seem to lock onto staellites as quickly as it used to.

Is this due to a combination of the different drivers on TT5 and a metal coated windscreen. I noticed it works perfectly in the wife's Polo.

I have just ordered an extension antenna from the link in the topic on this forum.

Anyone got any ideas?

When TomTom 5 starts and finds that the receiver doesn't have a fix yet it gets impatient and issues a cold reset to the receiver. Which is really stupid because by that time you are probably moving and it's much more difficult to load the base data when moving.

The only workaround is to allow the receiver to get a fix before you start TTN5.
