I've just tried to upgrade my 510 with the £29 sopftware, followed instructions but the unit has frozen on the start up screen. It will not re-set and can only turn power off by switching it on and off at back of unit and not power button on front. Anybody got any ideas, I'm panicking as I go on holiday at weekend and am relying on my GPS |

What £29 software have you upgraded your 510 to? |

Have you tried re-installing the software? If so, and it still won't work, I suggest an urgent call to Navman Tech Support in the morning. _________________ Tim |

Failing Tims suggestion, you could restore to smartstv3 protem, as 2005 or more accurately smartst v.3.5 is unproven as a 510 upgrade |

It may be unproven by us the end user but shouldn't navman have tried it out before offering it for sale? They sent me an e-mail extolling its virtues last week, they never mentioned any problems we might have using it. I think I'll hang on a bit longer. |
