Guys, just thought i'd share my experience of using the above company. I purchased a TTN5 bundle off of them just over a week ago, all delivered fine, installed TT software, no probs, all worked lovely, till last night......now this is not what you think, the hardware and software were fine, well the software was until i tried to copy the contents of the sd card with the TT software on to my PC, I inadvertantly wiped the card, oh @%&*! i thought, so emailed tomtom, no reply, emailed PDAMODS.COM, and had a very helpful reply from a chap called Ian, who pointed me in the right direction of a download link to retrieve the TT software, i did have trouble setting it all back up because the link only had Version 5.0 on it, but with the help of some very knowledgeable people on these forms, i have now got my XDA2s back up and running at full potential again with version 5.1
I CANT FAULT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE ONE BIT, IT WAS A SUNDAY, AND THE GUY CALLED IAN, DID IN MY OPINION, MORE THAN WAS ASKED OF HIM, CANT RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY ENOUGH
tomtom on the other hand need to look at the backup provided with their bundles, a cd with a backup copy of TTN5 v5.1, would cost pennies to produce, and could, no, SHOULD be included in the price
best regards
