Hi,
I have tomtom navigator 5 running on a toshiba e755. I would like to increase the volume above the maximum level so i can hear the prompts more clearly. has any one acheived this and are there add ons that i could purchase that would give me the increased volume.

All you can do is link the volume to the cars speed, and set it all to maximum, if that is not loud enough then consider an amplified holder for the PDA, as not all units are the same in terms of avail volume - Mike |

I don't know if your Toshiba is like my Ipaq which has the facility to plug is an external speaker/earpiece/headset. I have used an active speaker (battery powered) for a portable CD player, and using an extension lead housed it in the box between the front seats. Works well even at motorway speeds. _________________ Regards
