Ipaq 3970 beginner

Hi All Im looking for software and hardware to go with my ipaq 3970 to make a gps suitable for car use. The software that seems to be about the best looking at your reviews appears to be TomTom 5 so if I get this can u tell me what reciever I should go for. Iv been looking at navman sleeves on ebay but they are going for over a hundred quid I could get a new bluetooth reciever for less than that or are they not as good as the sleeves. Any suggestions on hardware and software would be a big help.

bluetooth receivers are much, much better than the sleeves. Go for a newer SiRF III based BT receiver.

Thanks Lutz Looking at what you say and looking at pocket pc reviews the holux gpslim gr-236 looks the buisness can you tell me if this combination would be ok ipaq3970 TomTom 5 and the above BT reciever.
