Trying to connect to this phone from Tomtom Go 300.
Tomtom says that it has set up the connection to the phone OK, but the "Mobile Phone" option does not appear anywhere in the Tomtom menus so the features for the phone cannot be accessed. We only want to use it for hands free calls and so have not set up wireless internet access.
Can anyone give any advice please?
I noticed that on the Tomtom site it says it only shows this facility in the Go 700 and 900, however according to the intructions with the Go 300 it is possible. This conflicting information doesn't help. |

hi, i think you are a little confused.
The Go 300 is not capable of bluetooth handsfree because it has no inbuilt microphone, it is only capable of traffic and weather and down the bottom of your post you said the tomtom go 900??
I dont think that that is a model Yet anyway
Anyway hope this helps |

Correct, only the 500 and 700 havwe handsfree capabilities. On the 300, the connection is there purely to access Traffic and PLUS services. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks for the info.
This was a customer of mine who had asked for help in getting this set up and of course it wouldn't work, but I just wanted clarification to confirm that the hands free facility was not available as he was sure it was.
Many thanks for the help. |
