Postcode database as POI

I'm trying to upload 7 figure postcodes [www.poisoft.com] but having split the file into smaller chunks, still cannot get anywhere as the number of entries is large. - about 56000 per 2MB chunk !! Does anyone know what the max number of entries per file is?

Hi

There is no theoretical maximum that I am aware of, but you will find it will take forever to download. I have split mine into chunks of 40,000 approx as this was the limit of the POI converter I was using.

I have also found that you can only load 25 POI files onto the iCN510, and having loaded the speed camera database with the seperate speed rated POI's I use 4 SD cards split across England SE&SW, England NW&NE, Wales and Midlands & East Anglia, and London. I never have the need to go to Scotland very much, and have never been to Ireland so do not have these areas loaded.

The max number of entries in a POI file is 65000.
