Garden Icon?

I'm spend a lot of my time visiting gardens and the like, and I have set up a POI file on my TomTom. I am currently using the asterix icon to denote these on my map. I don't want to use any of the other existing icons to show gardens on my map (the nearest being the National Trust picture of a tree)Does anyone have a picture of a plant or something similar that they have produced for use as a replacement icon and where could I locate a copy?



Can I produce my own icons? If so how do I do it?

Yes you can create your own icon using a bitmap edit such as Paint. Have a look at this thread

This is the technique I use:-

1) Find suitable clip art, as simple as possible

2) Load onto a photoedit programme, I use Abode photo de luxe.

3) Reduce size to approx 20X20 pixels

4) Pixel edit to get the best looking logo ( This can take some time)

5) Export in ***.BMP format as same name as OV2 file

6) Replace your existing ***.BMP file on your PDA.



Should now run OK
