Purchasing Advice

Hi

I've yet to purchase any Tomtom software or hardware - but i do plan to. I'm just trying to get a little advice before moving ahead.

What i'd like to get is the GlobalSat BT338 - which from what i can make out is one of the best BT devices??

I have an iPaq pocket pc which i'd like to run "NAVIGATOR 5 - Software & Maps of Western Europe" on. But i'm a little unsure if i can buy this software pack without already having the UK version of Nav5 installed...?

"NAVIGATOR 5 - Software & Maps of Western Europe", as the name suggests, includes the software. You do not need to have a single country version previously installed.

I also have an Ipaq and a BT338 GPS receiver running TT5. I have seen many brands of receivers in action and I have no doubt that you won’t find a better receiver than the BT338, it leaves all the others standing. I went on ebay and purchased a brand new one from Taiwan at a fraction of the UK price and have never regretted it.
