i've just bought a tt300 and when i fix it in and connect the power lead the green light comes on and i can hear something going on inside the unit but nothing happens on the display. anyone got any ideas?

1. Brand new unit from a shop?
2. What exactly is going inside the unit? Does it play a tune?

1 bought off of ebay Rolling Eyes
2 no tunes just like a taping sound that stops when the card is inserted
