Been using my pda mounted in a Red Rugged Hp Case, attached to the handle bars of my 27" Racer. For a while I thought I'd cracked the problem using a bespoked bracket. Recently the screen went dead and the battery became detached - the cause of this mishap was the vibration of various journeys had finally got to the battery cover and snapped off the plastic hooks holding the cover to the pda body.

I had a spare cover so was able to get back to normal quickly, anyone been using a similar setup, I don't think it's a good comparison between my bicycle and a motor bike; much more vibration and no damping.

I can see a piece of string & plastic bag being the only other alternative?
