6630 route 66 activation failures...

Hi

I'm new to this site, as the subject heading says, everytime I try to activate the program, it sits waiting for the SMS code, then comes up "Activation Failure" then I get the text with the activation code. Getting this SMS seems to cause the error.

I emailed ROUTE 66 numerous times, I've had fairly fast response emails from customer support.

They've referred my problem to the"activations" department, still nothing from them after 3 days.

I've had this software for a week and not been able to use it Crying or Very sad

. They don't seemed to be particularly bothered about. Evil or Very Mad

Any advice ?

your if you have skype you can use instant support

I have the same problem on a Nokia 6630. Scooby, how did you work round it? If I don't get anywhere this weekend, I'll give R66 support a call.

Can't say fairer than that.

Actually I managed to fix it late last night, so just in case anyone else gets this problem: try manually deleting the <MMC card>/Route66/RegistrationKey.dat file and relaunch Route 66. It picked up the activation SMS instantly for me.
