I have just bought an iPaq 4700 with TomTom Nav 5 and wondered if there is a download available for UK speed cameras that someone could direct me to. Thanks in advance |

Hi pedro99,
to the forum!
There are some guides that should be read (in the following order):
The beginner’s guide to the PocketGPSWorld camera database.
This explains about the different camera types and about categories and subcategories, so that you can decide how you want the database on your unit.
Depending on whether you have TomTom Navigator on a Pocket PC or TomTom GO, please read either:
How to install (camera database) POIs to TomTom Navigator 5.
This guide explains how to load the PocketGPSWorld camera database onto a Pocket PC running TomTom Navigator 5.
How to install (camera database) POIs onto a TomTom GO.
This guide explains how to load the PocketGPSWorld camera database onto your TomTom GO.
The above guides may look lengthy and complicated when first seen. However if you grab a cup of coffee and read each one thoroughly then they should make sense as they have been written in a step-by-step way, for ease of reading.

Hi Privateer,
Thanks for your comprehensive and speedy (excuse the pun) response.
I'll grab a coffee and digest the guides as you recommend.
Cheers. |

Get the TT5,1 version for your Ipaq -4700 as vs5,0 will cause memory leaks which result in the PDA freezing its avail from the TT web site - Mike |

I'm glad that the guides were useful. Don't forget to keep visiting the forum, especially as the camera database is updated once a month, and the new version is due soon.
