Distance to next POI?

Another feature I would like to see.. A distance to the next POI function. Unlike the POI warnings this would have a constant display, just like the next turn display which would give the distance remaining until you are due to pass the next POI you are particularly interested in.

Obviously this is useful for speed cameras, but what interests me most is when I'm driving on roads such as the A1 or A9 where the road changes from single to dual carriageway and back again quite often, if I could put POI's at the changeovers then I could see at a glance how long I'm going to have to wait until the next section of dual, and likewise how long until I'm going to get stuck on single carriageway again.
