Hi,
I have just purchased a BT 338 of ebay and i must reccommed this guy from overseas. He sells many of them on ebay has an excellent response to emails and as he confirmed they are the latest 3.1.1 firmware
My serial number is in the 33,000 - way beyond when they started releasing the 3.1.1 firmware, so pretty much the latest units.
I paid 78.00 pounds then a charge of 5.00 insurance - the item is sent via fedex and it arrived to me within 3 working days brand new and works an absolute treat.

thats a link to one of the items although he sells about 2-3 everyday so you could just do a search on his username - geo_compass
you can also specify either silver or black when you pay
hope this helps
i'll be happy to answer any more questions

Got my BT-338 from the same guy. No complaints at all (I actually got it directly from him when I made a trip to Singapore 2 months ago!)
Won't this topic be better suited in the Globalsat forum though? You might get more opinions there! |

Been using mine a few days now and am amazed with the results. The actual reason i sold my fortuna clip on was because of no connetion when i visited london a few weeks back.
This device works excellent even in doors and had a far better connection in terms of faster and more reliable.
You wont be disappointed
Regards
