Just out of interest has the go 700 a Hard disk like a laptop or is it a built in memory card of 2.5gb
Also I am after USA maps for the go 700 but suppliers only appear to sell them on sd cards which is of no use to me
thanks |

I think it is one of the mini 2.5gb ones like in the Ipods etc.
Having a non removable SD card or Flash Memory would just bump up production costs unnessasaraly. |

You can copy the data from the SD card onto the HD - I've been looking into this as I'm off to Florida later this year.
Apparently it will fit all of the USA and still leave 20Mb for other stuff.
Hope this helps. _________________ Thanks,

The 700 has space for both the Western Europe Maps and the Continental USA maps, with about 22Mb spare.
all you need to do is to copy the Map directory and then activate the maps. Works a doddle. Only problem is that there is not enought space for Canada as well. _________________ Mike Barrett |
