I am using a Nokia 6230 phone (which allows only one bluetooth connection), TTN5 with the TTN bluetooth GPS running on (don't laugh, it is actually working pretty well...) the iPAQ 4700.

The question is simple, but I think the answer is that you can't do it but...

I use the iPAQ conbected by bluetooth to the phone to get traffic updates over GPRS, unfortunately, when I do this I can't use the bluetooth headset for the phone, so I can't (legally) answer it if it rings while I am driving! Does anybody know of a way I can have Traffic over bluetooth aty the same time as having the headset connected.

It depends very much on whether the handset supports multiple concurrent BT connections.

My XDAII and both my E200 and C500 Smartphones do so I can use a BT GPS and BT Headset at the same time, some such as your Nokia cannot,

Thanks. thought that was going to ber the answer, but was hoping someone had a devious way round; the BT headset going via the PDA or something.

Guess I'll just have to wait until the contract is up on this phone and then make sure I get one that supports multiple BT. Then the fun starts of going into the mobile shops, asking for a phone that supports multi BT and looking at the blank expressions...

Hi Fredx had the same thoughts ! I run TTN5 on a Dell x30 and a new Orange SPV C550, The Dell accepts all the BT connections so you can use the PDA as a mini network. I have a programme that dials on the PDA or use voice tags on BT the BT headset having said all this even though I have read on various forums and in the handbook I have yet to achieve the Holy Grail of BT connections !!!!!!!
