Just received my TT 700 about 2 hours ago.
My road is showing up as being unnamed. Is there a way to add a name or correct this.
I have lived here nearly 9 years,so it should be on a map? |

It's not possible to add the road name yourself. As to whether a 9yr old road should be labelled then Yes, is it a private road, unadopted or something similar? _________________ Darren Griffin |

You can send map errors to Tele Atlas........... it's probably worth sending them the road name through. _________________ Thanks,

Thanks both.
The road a live on,is part of an estate which still being built on,perhaps,as you say,the council have not adopted them yet?
I shall give Tele Atlas a go. |

My road is really old - it's been here over a hundred years. Although it's out in the country it's the main one through the village and has about fifty houses stretcehed along it over a mile and it shows as an UNNAMED ROAD. |

The best thing you can do is report it as a map error _________________ Thanks,

Where's the best place to send map errors too? I looked on the TeleAtlas website and there is a place under "Support" but the TomTom isn't listed as a product... I have a few to report! |

You have to select Great Britain as the Country, not UK, and then there is an entry for TomTom GO. _________________ Richard

If you type in IP313AA in Find Menu, of Browse Map, you get Major Lane and there is a large part of North Suffolk all using the same road name.
Probably to stop any invaders knowing where they are! _________________ Richard
