Hi all,
Wondering if anyone can help me with this one.
I've just put some POI's (ov2 format off this site) in my western Europe Directory, rebooted the GO and switched it back on to check if the POI's are there.
They're not showing up on any of the POI menus.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks _________________ Thanks,

How many PoIs have you got? There's a limit of 27.
You will see them on the card via the PC but the GO will only see the first 27. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

That's 27 PoI categories - not individual PoIs.
Does not include the ones TomTom put there themselves. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Thanks -I'd better do some housekeeping.
What is the reason for this limit? _________________ Thanks,

Chris_w, it's normally 40 categorys but when the last firmware was released this was reduced by accident. They say this will be addressed in the next firmware release. But i don't think there should be a limit at all. The only limit is phisical space. Perhaps they don't want you to install 3rd party POI. |

Ugly-Kid-Joe - Thanks for that
I agree can't see why this has to be limited the processors and capacity on these units are more than capable of handling it.
Any ideas when the next release is due? _________________ Thanks,

They will probably release it with the release of the new TomTom Rider hardware. _________________ Jim-Bob
