Hi again,
I would like to navigate to a gps position.
On start up i press to navigate then the next page comes up with home, favs, poi, recent destination all working by that i mean can link to them.
Go to next page you have postcode, point on map, city centre, poi in city can link to these, BUT the gps postion doesn't work can link to it why is that is it because i got TTG 300 |

I think you may be expecting a feature that isn't there...
The order of Home, Favs, POIs etc on those two pages seems to be fixed (or no one's found how to change them yet), and is used in several situations. For example, "Add favourite" presents you with the same two pages of options, one of which is "gps position" . Tapping that adds your PRESENT position as a favourite.
So in your example, "Navigate to..." gives you all the same options, but "gps position" will be greyed out because, by definition, you are already there!
In other words there is no in-built facility to navigate to ANY gps position.
Hope that's what you were asking! |

Just thought if someone gave you their gps postion you could just put it in tomtom like a postcode and it would make route for you but i'm wrong again |

You want a navigate to co-ordinate/grid position - unfortunately TomTom doesn't support entering positions like that. _________________ J. |

there's a thread here that describes add-on programs for the GO, amongst them a "go to coordinates" tool. _________________ Lutz

Sparkey
I think what you need is "Navigate to Lat/Lon" from the free apps created by Scaredycat
http://www.automated.it/ttg-apps.html
It is in Beta and I haven't used it (I am waiting in hope for Scaredy to do a "Go To OSGB co-ord"), but it will probably work.
Whilst you are there checkout his other apps - particularly Quickam which is invaluable. |

That comes with the download of the apps. It is in a zip folder called ttgoapp-5.202.zip.
