Hi all, just putting up a post on behalf of a friend. Is there a mount available to fix a 510 to a bike/motorbike? Preferably on the handlebars? I had a look at ram mount's range, but its a bit complicated as they only seem to supply the ball mount with a u bolt, not the actual piece that fixes to the unit....Any ideas chaps?

As it's not waterproof, is it worth while?

I'd be more inclined to get a Garmin Quest which is weatherproof and a mount is available for bikes.

Hi
i came across this problem didn't like the quest (screen too small)
got hold of an otterbox totaly waterproof and you can use the touchscreen with it
mounted the box on my bars with a 25mm electrical conduit mount and a rubber mount to the otterbox.
drilled two holes in the back for the power supply and a 3.5mm audio jack socket
and then wired a 90 degree jack plug to the inside of the jack plug socket.
case opens with two clips drop the icn inside and connect the cables.
close the case and plug headphones into the socket.
toured all over (just got back from the lake district)
in torrential rain at times and no problems.
