Ipaq2210 & SysonChip CF Plus - AAAARRRGH PLEASE HELP !!!

I have been running TT3 for 12-18 months on my 2210 with SOS CF without any issue, then "suddenly" one morning the whole thing grinds to a halt and flatley refuses to work.

Ive tried the suggested GPS download tool (sorry name escapes me), and the SOS CF gets a good fix in 40 second, good develoment actvity etc, but when I try to set the commection via the com port settings the TT3 locks up, and I get "com port open error" on COM7 which used to work fine.

Ive tried soft & hard re-start, full reload of soaftware and still cant make it work - any ideas out there ????
