I understand you can have upto 99 POI categories with TTN3 - am I right in saying that you can only have a maximum of 99 entries within each category?

The number of entries in each category is only limited by the amount of available memory. _________________ Richard

Thanks richard.
Perhaps you can throw some light on this...
I have just one POI category which I use and I add to this category nearly every day. I have just started TTN3 and gone to map view and viewed this POI and notice that the list is showing 100 addresses (there are more than 100 in total though), but none are more than 50.8 miles from the last one I created (in Blackburn today) - I have others over this distance but they are missing from the list but they are all present if I go into map view and find them. I can then go back to the list and the ones that I have gone to in map view will then appear in the list! Why won't all of them appear in the list at the same time. I have no space problems as I am using a new 1GB card with loads of space left on it.
I daresay there is a simple explanation for this!
Thanks

Well I just added a couple of "dummy" entries into the same POI category and in both cases the total number of entries is still 100 even though the new entries are showing ok on the map. Could it be there is a setting somewhere that is controlling this?

TT has a search list of 100 entries. If you don't enter anything on the keyboard, it will display the first 100 nearest to it's last map reference point.
This could be where you are with a sat lock, or a position cursor on the Browse Map.
To refine the list, if you start typing in the name it will search for text that matches your input.
Note that it will match with any part of the text and once again display up to 100 nearest matches. _________________ Richard
