TomTom have released version 5.201 for the GO range of SatNav systems. There are a few minor bug fixes in this release, but it is mainly to support new flash rom in the latest batch of GOs.
You can download this software from TomTom download page. _________________ Mike Barrett |

Only thing which stopped me downloading 5.2 was the 27 POI issue. Wonder if that has been sorted? |

It works on my Windows setup. The full backup copied every thing, didn't crash, on the Classic, in a little under 10 mins with the GB map. _________________ Richard

Yes, i've installed it on my new upgraded map (v571, supplied on SD card, after backing it up and burning it to CDR first!) along with the latest camera database and all seems well so far on my Classic. Haven't given the new map much of a spin so far, but the back up TomTom Go feature works as suggested above in about 10 minutes on my XP SP2 machine. The instructions TomTom supply with the SD card on transferring favourites seem to works pretty well, too, so my Go is on good form at the moment! Incidentally, my SD card with the new maps on had v5.0 of the Go software on it, hence the upgrade. |
