Does TT 5 have an aversion to motorways?. The other day i wanted to go from Swansea to Bracknell; south of Reading. At every motorway junction it wanted me to leave the motorway and use the old A 48. Even after the Severn bridge it wanted me to go across country. Why?. Bracknell is only 15 minutes off the M4. And while we are on the point it also wanted to take me through every motorway services and out the other side back onto the motoway. Same on the M3. Through all the services. I am going to europe soon , can anyone tell me please is major roads of europe the same as TT 3 or should i revert back to that?. Thanks. |

I live in Swansea, and have taken that route via the M4, A322 Bracknell, M3, M25 etc.
TT5 routes me perfectly, without ever trying to get me to leave the motorway inappropriately

I also have had no problems on the M4 - possible reasons for what you got -
a) you managed to tell it to avoid the M4 (done through alternate route menus)
b) you managed to tell it to avoid roads over a certain speed, say 50 MPH. |
