Removing GBplus maps

Hi everyone :D ...for various reasons I decided to go back to TT3 and wait for the TT5 update. The problem I'm left with is that I cannot remove the Great_Britain_Plus-Maps from my IPAQ 2210. Every time I go to add/remove programmes the GB plus map reappears. I have searched all the folders on my IPAQ and desktop and I cannot find the file to delete manually 8O . Any ideas anyone?

use file manager - select sd or cf card and delete the folder from there.

if you have a card reader use that and delete the folders.

Are you saying that you have no folder named Great_Britain_Plus-Map on your memory card but when you open Settings..System..Remove Programs you have an entry with that name?

Ok. If, as you state, the folder Great_Britain-Map no longer exists on your memory card then the maps are not actually installed.

There is an entry remaining in the registry which should have been removed during uninstall. This means that when you visit Remove Programs it is still showing.

You can safely leave this entry or you can remove it use a registry editor.

To remove, navigate to and remove the Great_Britain-Map key found in the following location:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Apps\Great_Britain-Map

I had this same problem with TT4 - I had a reference to a map that had been uninstalled within TT then manually deleted fro mthe map. It never went and I could not get rid of it. It only went when TT5 was installed.
