Tom tom 5 freeze bug, not impressed!

I have just returned from a week in Wales using my Tomtom 5 with Axim X50v. Every journey I routed crashed after approx 40 mins so I had to soft reset. So on long journeys I ended up shutting the program down after every 30 minutes just to stop it crashing.

On my return today I have seen the problem reported in the bug list and now have to mess about with the program mentioned to sort it out.

As far as I can see this release is full of bugs and Tomtom need to sort it out pronto.

My new Axim X50v has had so many soft resets last week, also the locking up on exiting the proggy is also a pain.

I can see by others on this forum that going back to version 3 is the only way until a proper fix is found.

Sorry for ranting on but just wanted to let off a bit of steam :D
