Maps on SD card

I have a Dell axim which I'm going to use

the CF slot for a bluetooth card leaving my SD slot free.



Can I store maps on the SD and use this for TOmtom 2

I've heard that SD cant be used this way?



The only thing is the Dell sd slot is not SDIO?



I cant believe this makes a difference for storing maps

Don't know about the Dell Axim, but I have Tom Tom on my SD card on my Ipaq, and it works without any problems.

Andys, SD can be used for regular storage cards to store data. What SD slots can't be used for is serial data communication (aka SD Input/Output), this is where you would need an SDIO interface/slot. Because you're only going to use SD cards for storage and use a Bluetooth CF card I presume to use with a Bluetooth GPS ? This should be fine.
