Sorry wanted to add, (Pressed wrong button)
But this statement isn't right?
Could they not be had for false advertising?

Forgive me for being stupid, but in what way do you think it is false advertising? |

industry's most up-to date street level map data
I don't think so, and many on this forum would agree I think,

I also suggested to TomTom that they remove the Orange M2000 (and all derivatives such as the XDAIIs) from their comaptibility matrix until they had fixed the keyboard bugs....
Their response was:-
"The M2000 will not be removed from the compatibility list, because it is compatible. In compatible we mean that the software works on this model PDA, the fact that it is maybe not ideal in a holder has nothing to do with compatibility."
The response completely ignores the fact that it doesn't work outside of a holder either....
I think someone at TomTom should read a dictionary - If they are not careful, someone will likely get lawyers involved - Then they will be in trouble.
All in all, from reading the numarous posts on this and other forums, I think that TomTom have done themselves some significant damage with the release of TTN5 - TTN3 was a fantastic product that needed a few updates to modernise it and correct maps.
TTN5 it would appear has addressed very few of the requirements, and introduced a significant number of problems.

If you were to get another mapping software, I am 80% sure it won't be as up to date as TT5 is, and also you won't be able to have as many planning options. I'm fairly sure of that |
