re-direct to SD card

Is SD Faster than compact flash?

AND

Is possible to redirect the software to look for the files on the SD card rather than where it was previously installed (compact Flash), without doing a clean install.

I tried to just copy the files onto the SD card from my compact flash but when i tried to run the applcation it said it could not find the files.

CF is usually quicker

You shouldn't need to do anything. I have some maps on SD and some on CF. TomTom finds them every time
