|

Hi,
I'm very confused over this.
I'm running TTN5 from my SD card on a Mio 168, and while trying to figure out how the points of interest work have come across a strange thing!
I have removed all points of interest except one from my GB maps folder, soft booted the Mio and when I go into TTN5 the POI's are still there!!
Does anyone know where this info is kept in addition to the maps folder, cause I can't find nothing else anywhere?
Regards

What do you mean by "removed"? Have you deleted them from within TT? That is what I have always done.
When you say they are stil lthere - are the POIs still there, or does TT only think they are? |

If you mean custom POIs - those are in the OV2 files. But if you mean the built-in POIs that came with the map - those are in the POI.DAT file. Do you really want to remove those? _________________ Lutz

@JulianBarker
I physically removed the actual files from the folder AND removed them from within TT.
@Ibendlin
Sorry, I guess I was meaning the built in ones, I didn't realise that!!
Thanx for the replies guys.
Regards

The POI categories are hard coded into the program. You cannot remove the categories. You can only remove the data for these categories, but this will not allow you to increase the number of custom categories (if that was your intent) _________________ Lutz
