Anyone help?? Think I had problem 2 with upgrade to TTN3 but can't remember the solution!
Have installed TTN5 upgrade and now have the following problems;
1. Error message "Cannot execute \Windows\ttgpseng.exe" every time I switch the PDA on.
2. Cannot get TTN5 to recognise a signal from the Navman hence no working sat nav system! |

1. read this forum. there are a lot of threads here how to fix that
2. Other BT receiver at 38400 should work. _________________ Lutz

2. If not, mine will work set as other cable NMEA receiver (pair it first) set to 4800 baud.
I'm sure I've had it working as a BT receiver before, but can't get it to work in this configuration at the moment. _________________ Tim |

Many thanks. I think problem two has been sorted. I took it out today after having fiddled with a few settings over the weekend and it works! (Com5 and Other BT GPS). Perhaps it ws the long acquisition time (and message saying "No GPS signal") that fooled me. It does seem to take about a minute to receive the signal. :D
As for the annoying error message, I will follow your advice. |
